KELLY OLIVER is an exciting contemporary singer/songwriter, guitarist and harmonicist from Hertfordshire, who has recently won the award 'Best Female Solo Artist' at the NMG Awards in Cambridge and her rise to prominence has been boosted considerably after being championed by none other than BBC's Whispering Bob Harris.

Kelly has toured all over the country, including appearances at the prestigious Hitchin Folk Club, Cambridge Folk Festival, Folk by the Oak and the Larmer Tree Festival. She has also opened for many top artists including Thea Gilmore, Barbara Dickson and Cara Dillon, as well as performing live with Dave Swarbrick and Luke Jackson.

Her first single "Diamond Girl" (featuring Luke Jackson) has enjoyed much regional BBC and local radio coverage, as well as being featured on BBC Radio 2’s Folk Show with Mark Radcliffe and on Bob Harris’ BBC Radio 2 Sunday show.

Her debut album ‘This Land’ was funded by an Emerging Excellence Award from Help Musicians UK and went on to receive a 4 star review from R2 Magazine, as well as being named one of The Telegraph’s best Folk albums of 2014.

Kelly is currently touring to promote her second album ‘Bedlam’, which has already gained much attention from the musical world. The album provides a full and luscious Celtic inspired sound. Her smooth voice floats effortlessly over the intricate guitar and violin lines, balancing strength and detail superbly. If there’s one thing to be gleaned from her latest release, it’s that she is a master storyteller. From first love, to insanity and everything in between, Kelly Oliver delivers slices of life in an old world folk manner that sets her apart from many on the folk scene today.



Appearing with Kelly is Shanade, a singer/songwriter with a powerful, soulful voice.

Already well established as a studio performer, Shanade has provided lead and background vocals for a diverse range of artists ranging from Amy Winehouse to Sigma.

For the first time she has put together an EP of her own material which has been produced independently and released this year on her own label, Lola Rose Records.

Shanade is known for her captivating performances and is currently lining up a string of gigs, both as a soloist and with her amazing band to promote the EP launch. Her sound pairs classic song-writing and heartfelt lyrics with gutsy production, which show echoes of classic soul presented with a modern twist.
